Since 2017, Point3D has been providing high-quality 3D virtual tours, photography, and 3D laser scanning services to clients all over the country. Working with over 400 businesses nationwide, we’ve produced photographs, 3D tours, and as-built documentation to help companies better design, build, manage, and promote their most valuable assets.
At Point3D, we are at the forefront of developing innovative property marketing and documentation solutions. We support industries from residential and commercial real estate, retail, and hospitality to architecture, engineering, and construction – and are looking for a Field Photographer to help us execute our most popular services while also providing outstanding customer service. As a member of our robust Operations team, you’ll become proficient in the latest real estate photography techniques and virtual tour technologies we use in the field, gain exposure to various software and workflows, form a strong technical grounding in our products, in addition to receiving plenty of mentorship and training.
We are looking to grow our dynamic Operations team by adding an outgoing self-starter who has photography experience while having impeccable attention to detail and customer service skills. We are actively growing our marketing, sales, and operations teams with people who are passionate about technology, have a willingness to learn, and want to make an impact.
ROLE
As a Field Photographer, you will be responsible for capturing digital assets on-site using a variety of technologies utilized by Point3D. By combining your creative vision and our best practices, you will produce high-quality digital marketing collateral for a diverse range of businesses and organizations. This role, as part of our Operations team, involves working collaboratively to meet production and logistical timelines, ultimately delivering exceptional 3D virtual tours, photography, video, and floorplans. The Field Photographer role will work a minimum of 32 hours per week. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform on-site photography, 3D Matterport scans, and drone/UAV captures of interior and exterior spaces (comprehensive training provided).
- Collaborate with on-site contacts to plan, ensuring the confident production of exceptional content.
- Support the Marketing team by producing photo and/or video assets to use as brand collateral.
- Consult with stakeholders throughout the production to post-production process.
- Keep management informed and up-to-date on project statuses/progress, providing all relevant information related to day-to-day activities.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented individual that will relish performing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with the ability to multi-task, produce quality deliverables, and meet project-based deadlines. The successful candidate will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Photography, Media Marketing Communications, Broadcasting, or related program is preferred but not required
- Ideally 3+ years of photography experience or experience with Matterport 3D cameras. However, the successful candidate will be trained in all services offered
- Flexible in their schedule (minimum 24 hours per week), willing to travel
- Exceptional attention to detail, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Looking to find a position with a team to grow with long-term
- Professional and willing to communicate with clients
REQUIREMENTS
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle to travel between locations (all vehicle-related expenses are reimbursed).
- Be locally-based in Ottawa
- Carry and use equipment in excess of 30lbs.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions and environments.
- Frequent squatting, kneeling, climbing, and the ability to walk long distances.
- Must be legal to work in Canada.

As a member of our fast-growing sales team, you’ll have great insight into how the full sales-cycle works, exposure to high profile customers, a strong technical grounding in our product, in addition to mentorship and training.
Point3D is looking to grow our dynamic Sales team by adding an energetic self-starter who has experience identifying and connecting with key decision makers within accounts. We are actively growing our marketing, sales and operations teams with people who are passionate about technology, have a willingness to learn, and want to make an impact.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Business Development Representative your role will be to effectively prospect new accounts, make outbound emails and calls, build meaningful relationships, and work closely with our marketing team to develop campaigns. You will be the main point of contact between Point3D and prospective customers, and are responsible for helping grow the number of businesses adopting Point3D’s reality capture solutions. A successful Business Development Representative will build meaningful relationships with prospective customers and will utilize a variety of sales tactics to suit the variety of customers we work with. Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following.
Responsibilities:
- Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for account executives and sales managers
- Become a product expert: answer pre-sales questions and come up with creative solutions for unique prospect use cases
- Conduct the outbound sales process through discovery and qualification calls/chats with prospects
- Update and manage all sales activities, opportunities, and account information in Pipedrive
- Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities
- These are just some of the tasks but we are looking for someone who has an open mindset to constantly improve the way we do things with a focus on customer excellence.
You should have:
- Ideally, 1-3 years of direct sales or technology sales experience
- Excellent relationship, communication, and influence skills
- Confidence and drive; proactive and motivated about reaching out and following up
- High energy and strong work ethic driving towards meeting or exceeding team and individual goals
- Experience working with a CRM such as Pipedrive, Salesforce or HubSpot
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is a plus
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a Canadian citizen and legal to work in Canada
- Must speak and write English fluently
